¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ no longer pre-qualifies examination candidates; you must schedule first with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (). Once you have passed your examination, you may then submit an application for registration to the ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Board.

Test Format
The FE and FS exams are computer-based tests made up of 110 questions. The exam lasts 5 hours and 20 minutes, but the entire appointment is 6 hours to include an introduction and a break. Additional details about the exam can be found in the .
Testing Locations
FE and FS exams are only administered at approved Pearson VUE testing centers. The closest center is in Salem.
Review Course
A review course is offered at OSU, and is organized by the Institute of Industrial Engineers. It is not a for-credit course, but does require registration and payment. For more information about the review please email: tec@oregonstateiise.org
