Hi, I’m Raina! I am a second year chemical engineering student with minors in statistics and music performance. This past summer I did research in Dr. Chih-hung Chang’s lab through the Johnson Internship, which is a program at OSU for students in the college of Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering.
On campus, I play violin in a string quartet and in the OSU-Corvallis Symphony. I am also a member of Tau Beta Pi, an engineering honors society, and serving as this year’s treasurer for the Asian Pacific American Student Union at OSU. This fall term, I am studying abroad at National Taiwan University in Taipei, which so far has been an incredibly rewarding experience that has broadened my perspective and allowed me to grow as a student and future engineer.
In my free time I love swimming, embroidery, and baking.
