Biography

Müge Albayrak is a researcher in the School of Civil and Construction Engineering at ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓfocusing on geomatics, geodetic astronomy, and geoid modeling. She received her PhD in Geomatics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2020. Following her degree, she completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Haute École d’Ingénierie et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud (HEIG-VD) in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland. From 2022 to 2024, she served as an assistant professor in the Geomatics Engineering Department at Harran University, Türkiye. She received a fellowship from Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) to conduct astronomical observations in Louisiana in 2024. Dr. Albayrak has also been awarded fellowships from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in 2018 and the Fulbright Program in 2019 to support her PhD research in Germany and the United States.
