In my free time, I like to read, spend time outdoors, and go to the gym. I enjoy stepping away from the computer screen whenever I can, especially after long school days!
After graduation, I hope to work in the cybersecurity field, where I can continue learning and help create safer digital environments. I’m also interested in contributing to cybersecurity education and awareness for K–12 students.
My advice for incoming students is to take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way! Even if you feel like you don’t know enough about a topic, go to theclub meetings, attend recruitment events, and just show up, because there are always people who want to help you learn.
What I like most about my major is the real-world impact it has. The work I do can help protect people and systems, which makes it feel especially meaningful.
On campus, I am the Vice President for Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS), a member of the Security Club, and a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). These groups help me continue developing my skills while also building a fun and supportive community.
