Hi I’m Keean! I am a junior in Architectural Engineering with a minor in viola performance. Originally from the Portland area, I hope to go into human-centric lighting design, supporting building occupants' mood, focus, and health. This is particularly important as humans spend more time indoors today than ever in history. I currently work in the lighting lab on campus, conducting my own research on this very topic! 

Outside of class, I love to play viola in any ensemble that will have me. I currently play in a string duet, string quartet, and the OSU symphony. I also love to cook, hike, and play intramural sports. I know that I am someone who enjoys a busy schedule, so having a full day that is not all engineering is perfect for me! 

This upcoming summer, I will be living in Seattle working as a lighting design intern with Stantec. When I graduate, I might get my master's degree in architecture or go straight into the lighting design field.
