I am currently an intern at the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV), where I serve as an Educational Outreach and Social Media Intern, helping promote awareness and provide resources to the community. I am also a member of the Society of Women Engineers Club, the Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering Club and the Blood Drive Association. Outside of engineering, I play the cello in the Albany Orchestra and volunteer in the Oncology Unit at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. On campus, I work as an Engineering Undergraduate Learning Assistant and a Biological Research Assistant. Additionally, I am a member of Chi Theta Phi, an academic-based art and design sorority, where I previously served as vice president and now sit on the standards board. Over the past three summers, I conducted platelet research in biomedical engineering and physiology/pharmacology labs at ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Health & Science University. This experience led me to earn my phlebotomy certification and work as a lab assistant at PeaceHealth. After completing my undergraduate degree, I plan to attend medical/graduate school.
