Biography

In the late 1980s, Goran Jovanovic's team developed a semi-artificial pancreas using the cell encapsulation technique, which sparked his fascination with microscale-based technologies. Currently, he focuses his research on developing microscale-based chemical reactors & separation unit operations for modular and commercial-scale processes, as well as biomedical devices for in-vivo blood treatment.
