Armed with an OSU B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Eric Vogel spent 43 years in the tech industry. A software engineer turned hardware and software project manager, he led design, development, and manufacturing of calculators, smartphones, laptops, test equipment, fingerprint scanners, TV audio equipment, and Bluetooth speakers and headphones. He trained, mentored, and coached dozens of project managers globally, set up engineering design centers in the U.S., China, and Malaysia, and led project management offices. His passion is student career readiness by relating what they learn at OSU to norms and best practices for new product development in industry.
