Eric Muhati is a computer scientist with a strong background in software engineering. His career began in software development and led to the founding of a successful software company. Seeking deeper expertise in both research and practice, Muhati completed a Ph.D. in computer science from Howard University in 2021. Afterward, a move into academia allowed Muhati to blend of research, teaching, and mentorship. His work focuses on machine learning for network security, secure IoT and cyber-physical systems, software-defined systems, autonomous vehicle networks, wireless network virtualization, big data analytics, and broader challenges in cybersecurity.
