Continuum Energy is an engineering and development company working in the data center infrastructure space. We work with partner companies to provide power and cooling solutions for large scale data centers, primarily in North America.
For on-site power generation, we work with to provide private grids using natural gas fired generation assets including reciprocating engines, gas turbines and fuel cells.
For large scale heat rejection, we work with Araner (Araner.com) to implement large scale heat rejection systems using mechanical chillers and industrial scale components. Similar in size to those used at campuses worldwide.
Some key points that we will address:
- Scale of the data center buildout - where it was/is and where it will be.
- Data center scale relative to other industries - power, investment
- Infrastructure and systems used in data centers, both on site and supply chain
- Roles that are needed today and opportunities for improvements
- Areas where R&D is being performed to meet current and future needs
Open to all interested in engineering majors- but these are a focus civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, electrical and controls.
