Biography

Bill Roesch started his engineering career at Tektronix where he scrutinized component reliability for five years. Since 1985, he has been with TriQuint Semiconductor where he is currently director of quality and reliability at the company’s Hillsboro, ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ, factory.

One of the world’s foremost authorities on Gallium Arsenide integrated circuit reliability and quality, Roesch is also an educator in the semiconductor industry and a mentor of fellow engineers.

He has presented more than 30 technical publication on GaAs reliability, receiving seven best paper awards. Roesch is an active member of DARPA, JPL, IRPS, and European Space Agencies industry relations working groups, as well as the Joint Electron Devices Engineering Council committee on GaAs reliability and quality.
