As the chief operating officer and president of Portland's W&H Pacific, Inc., William Jabs has over 25 years experience in the consulting industry. He and his 300- person firm are involved in aviation, transportation, and specialized engineering projects throughout the West at such diverse sites as the Portland International Airport, the Mt. Bachelor Ski Area, and the ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ State Penitentiary in Salem. Mr. Jabs directed the development of a new technology called the compost stormwater filter, which led to its selection in 1992 as an Engineering Excellence Grand Award winner from the American Consulting Engineer's Council. Mr. Jabs is an innovator and leader within the civil engineering industry in the west.
