Biography

BSCS 1997 - EECSScott Kveton graduated with a bachelor鈥檚 in computer science in 1997 and is now the CEO of JanRain, Inc., the maker of user-centric identity tools and services. He is passionately focused on building successful teams and bridging communities. Kveton鈥檚 experience with companies like Amazon.com and Rulespace have given him a pragmatic understanding of the fast-paced IT industry. Kveton returned to OSU in 2001 to head up the Open Source Lab. He is an active member of the Portland Open Source Software Entrepreneurs organization and was named one of InformationWeek鈥檚 鈥淭op 10 People to Watch in 2006.鈥 Red Herring magazine also named him one of its 鈥淭ech Tots: 25 Young Rebels Who Will Rock the World.鈥 Kveton was ordained via the Internet and has performed weddings for family and friends.
