Biography

Ron Dilbeck earned his bachelor's in electrical and computer engineering and mathematics from ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ State in 1975. He also has a master's degree in electrical engineering from Washington State University. From 1983 to 1994, he held various engineering management positions with Sequent Computer Systems. Between 1994 and 1996, Dilbeck was president and chief executive officer of nCUBE, Inc, a builder of interactive multimedia servers. In 1996, he joined RadiSys, a company that designs and manufactures building blocks for next-generation Internet and communications systems. He served as vice president and general manager of the Automation and Control Division and was appointed chief operating officer of the company in October 2000, a position that he holds currently. Dilbeck has also served RadiSys as senior vice president and general manager of the Telecommunications Division, and as interim president and CEO.
