Rich Duncombe is director of the Advanced Product and Device Lab, for Hewlett-Packard Company's Inkjet Technology Platforms, Imaging, and Printing Group. He is responsible for the New Business Creation program, which identifies, selects, and launches new businesses that leverage IPG technologies and capabilities. In addition, Rich manages the Intellectual Property, Silicon Design, Modeling, Knowledge Management, and Research Alliance teams. He has served in a number of diverse roles at HP, most recently as department manager in the Asia Inkjet Manufacturing Operation in Singapore. Rich represents HP as a voting member of the ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Engineering and Technology Industry Council, and is vice president of the Corporate Venture Consortium, a newly formed group to develop, share, and promulgate best practices in Corporate Venturing.
In addition to his OSU degree, he has a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
