Biography
Jake VanderZanden graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1987. He is currently General Manager of ICS, Blount, Inc. in Portland. He is responsible for a new venture growth division started in 1991 in the construction and tool industry. Principal products manufactured and sold are concrete-cutting chainsaws and diamond chain.
His management achievements include significant unit sales growth over the last four years, development of three revolutionary contractor tools, and a distribution system established with over 400 accounts world-wide. Jake is active in the Construction Industry Manufacturers Association and was a past member of the Mechanical Engineering Industry Advisory Board.
