Jack Watson graduated with a BS in Industrial Administration in 1950, then worked as an industrial engineer and supervisor with The Boeing Company in Seattle for nine years, and three years at Thiokol Chemical in Brigham City, Utah. He then spent 25 years in executive management at Wilton Corporation in Shiller Park, Illinois; Walworth Company in Braintree, Massachusetts; Medalist Industries in Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Pressed Steel Tank in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Grove Valve and Regulator in Oakland, California.
In 1987, Watson co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO of NEWFLO Corporation in Austin, Texas. NEWFLO acquired nine subsidiary companies during the next nine years and sales grew from $34 million in 1988 to $232 million in 1996. The company was sold to Portland, ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ's Precision Castparts in 1996.
