Biography

After graduation, Gregg Thompson served as a civil engineer in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps (CEC), working at the Panama Canal Naval Station as a facilities planner and engineer, and as a Project Manager at the Quantico, Virginia base. After leaving the CEC, Thompson completed an MS in Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois.

He returned to ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ in 1999 as an environmental process engineer in CH2M HILL’s Corvallis office with responsibilities including water and wastewater treatment facility design and project planning. He is currently a project engineer managing projects for Clean Water Services, and represents CH2M HILL in the Civil Engineering Co-Operative Program (CECOP). He is chairing the CECOP board in 2003-2004.
