Biography
Giuseppe Cerbone is CEO of Ansa, Italy's leading news agency and fifth largest news agency in the world. His goal at Ansa is to apply advanced technology to the fast changing world of information, where the Internet, digital TV, and cellular telephones are rapidly changing the way information is produced and used. Before joining Ansa, Dr. Cerbone headed an R&D department associated with the Italian telephone agglomerate, STET, that produced advanced multimedia applications. He also had a stint at II Sole 24 ORE, Europe's largest financial newspaper, where he renovated its electronic business.
