After graduation in 1993, Eric Rockett went to work for Siemens Power Corporation as a BWR Neutronics Engineer. In 1997, he joined Nebraska Public Power District as a Nuclear Fuels Engineer where he served as a project manager for contracted services in the areas of reload licensing, nuclear analysis, and nuclear fuel management for Cooper Nuclear Station. From 2002 to 2005 Rockett worked for Energy Northwest as group leader for Fuel and Cycle Management.
In 2004 he started his own consulting business, Rockett Science, Inc., providing nuclear fuel consulting services in areas such as uranium procurement contract negotiation, fuel economic analysis, uranium market analysis, uranium commodities, and in-core fuel management and fuel fabrication oversight.
