Edwin Stastny has made professional contributions to agriculture at the local, state and national levels all of his adult life. Nationally, his associations include the Administrative Committee of the National Potato Board, the National Potato Council and he was a member of the US Department of Agriculture task force on the marketing and exporting of US agricultural goods.
At the state level, Mr. Stastny was a member of the ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Agricultural Research and Education Policy Advisory Board which served the OSU College of Agricultural Sciences and served as a member and chair of the ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Potato Commission. At the local level, he was a member of the Klamath County Agricultural Experiment Station Advisory Board. Edwin Stastny is recognized for his continued support to OSU and the Department. His energy and commitment throughout his career qualifies him to the Hall of Fame.
