Biography

Ed Froese joined the Boeing Company in 1972. He is currently vice president of Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Systems and is responsible for all Boeing activities related to Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) fleets of the United States, NATO, the United Kingdom, France, Saudi Arabia, and Japan. He is also responsible for the Multi-Sensor Command and Control Constellation/Aircraft (MC2C/A) in concert with the Phantom Works organization.

Prior to this Ed was manager of the NATO AWACS Programs and had earlier assignments in Space Systems and the Missile and Space Division. Between 1979 and 1982, Ed managed the Computer Science Department at a community college in Eastern Washington and also served one year as the Math/Science Division chairperson. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Pierce County Careers Connection.
