Soon after receiving an MS in Structural Engineering from Yale University, Earl Reynolds joined the new Corvallis firm CH2M. He became Manager of the firm's Boise office when it opened in 1950 and a Vice President in 1966. He subsequently became Chairman of the Board of CH2M Hill in 1980, a post he held until his retirement in 1983.
A Fellow and Life Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Mr. Reynolds has also received the Distinguished Service Award from the National Society of Professional Engineers and the G.W. Fuller Award from the American Water Works Association for contributions to the advancement of the water works industry. Active in the Boise community for many years, he received the Distinguished Community Service Award in 1988, in part for his leadership in the development of the Boise River Greenbelt system. Mr. Reynolds is an honorary member of the OSU Foundation Board of Trustees, following several years of service to that organization.
