Biography

Inducted into the Council of Outstanding Early Career Engineers in 2008, Dan Euhus graduated from OSU with an honors bachelor’s degree before attending Georgia Institute of Technology and receiving his PhD in chemical engineering. He then joined Shell Chemical Company in Houston where he held positions as a technologist and production engineer.

In January 2007, Euhus moved to Chevron Energy Technology Company in Houston, Texas, where he is a senior process engineer and develops and directs strategic research initiatives and provides process engineering and research support to ongoing projects and programs. His focus areas are in heavy oil upgrading, emerging energy technology, and in situ reservoir upgrading. He is also responsible for talent identification and recruiting at Georgia Tech and OSU.

Euhus is a member of the OSU School of Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering Advisory Board.
