Craig Wohlgemuth was educated at the University of Washington. For over 30 years he held positions with Bonneville Power Administration in various engineering sectors including Communications, Metering, Data Systems, and later Conservation Engineering. Then, as Chief of Industrial Technology, he came into contact with the Energy Systems Group at OSU. In this period from 1988 to 1997 he was influential in providing vision, guidance and funding for unique projects that currently serve to improve the efficacy and efficiency of numerous industries. These include: Motor Master - a comprehensive guide to effective motor applications; MagnaForce - a coupling system that is tolerant of misalignment and vibrations; and OSU' s Motor Systems Resource Facility. In translation, "Wohlgemuth" means "of happy or pleasant disposition"; he is well named.
