Chane Cullens received his master's in computer science in 1984 after earning his bachelor's in biochemistry and biophysics at OSU. After graduation, he worked for Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas, as a software engineer before joining Mentor Graphics in 1982 where he served as a product manager, software engineer, and engineering manager in Wilsonville, ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ, and San Jose, California. During his 10-year tenure at Mentor Graphics, Cullens expanded product development, helping the company grow from 50 to 1,500 employees, and played a role in a successful initial public offering.
In 1993, Cullens joined Bristol History in Danbury Connecticut, where he served as vice president of Engineering and vice president of Business Development before being promoted to president and chief of operations in January of 1999.
Cullens is the author of two books, Cross-Platform Development Using Visual C++ and Using Visual C++ 4 .
