Advance bioengineering.

We're teaming up to advance bioengineering

Introduction

The ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Bioengineering Symposium — jointly organized by ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ State, ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Health & Science University, and the University of ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ â€” was established in 2019 to promote collaboration and exchange of ideas between students, researchers and practitioners in ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ and the surrounding region. This year the meeting will take place on Oct. 6 at the LaSells Stewart Center at ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓin Corvallis, ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ. There will also be a virtual poster session on Oct. 5. The meeting will cover all areas of biomedical engineering, highlighting innovations in methods, materials and models.

The ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Bioengineering Symposium builds on the combined strengths within the region in biomedical engineering research and technology development. The meeting typically draws hundreds of participants from universities and industry, providing a forum for exchange of ideas and establishment of new collaborations. Previous meetings: 2019 ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Bioengineering Symposium, 2021 ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Bioengineering Symposium.

The symposium also provides an opportunity for prospective students and post-docs to learn about research opportunities in ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ. ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓand University of ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ offer joint MS and PhD degrees in bioengineering. ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ Health and Science University offers graduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering.
