General Requirements:
- A 4-year U.S. bachelor鈥檚 degree or equivalent in any subject except computer science
- A prior undergraduate cumulative GPA of at least 2.75, or equivalent.
Written and Oral Communication Requirements:
- At least one course to satisfy the writing requirement, with a C or higher, or equivalent.
- At least one course to satisfy the communication requirement, or with a C or higher, or equivalent.

Step 2: Fill out an application.
Domestic US Citizens/US Permanent Residents
To apply as a U.S. citizen and permanent resident complete the online application through the :
- U.S. citizens and permanent resident students complete the .
- You will need to create an account and/or log into your existing account if you already have one.
- As you proceed through the application process:
- Select the academic year that you wish to attend.
- Select the 鈥淭ransfer/Post-Bacc鈥 application type.
- In the 鈥淎cademic Information鈥 section of the application, it will ask 鈥淲hat best describes your current status.鈥 In the drop-down menu, select 鈥渟eeking a second bachelor鈥檚 degree or certificate.鈥 Then, click the button to select your program:
- A pop-up window will open where you can Indicate your preferred start term. Note that 精东影视 State has four terms per year: fall, winter, spring, and summer.
- Choose 鈥淐omputer Science鈥 as your major.
- Under 鈥淥ption Choice,鈥 select NONE.
- For 鈥淒egree Choice,鈥 select 鈥淏achelor of Science.鈥
- For 鈥淧referred Campus or Location,鈥 select 鈥淥SU Online (Ecampus).鈥
- Then click 鈥淪ave.鈥
- Proceed with the remainder of the application.
- In the 鈥淪tatement of Objectives鈥 section within the application, create a 150-200 word Statement of Objectives explaining your interest in the degree program and how it fits into your personal and career goals.
- Once you submit your application, you will receive an OSU ID number. Keep this number! When you email or call about your application, please use this OSU ID number.
International Non-US Citizens/Permanent Residents
To apply as an International Student, complete the through the .
- Go to the
- At 鈥淔irst Step: Create Your Account鈥, create your username and password.
- At 鈥淟ogin to Your Application鈥, enter your username and password to login.
- Complete Step 1 of the application.
- In Step 2, select the following
- Application Level: Undergraduate
- Application Type: Post-baccalaureate
- Program Type: Computer Science Online
- Campus: Ecampus
- Choose Program: Ecampus Post-Baccalaureate-Computer Science (B.S.)
- Start Date: select your preferred start term
- Complete Steps 2 through 6, pay the $60 application fee and submit.
- You will receive an email from your application advisor within one week with the next steps in the process. If you have any questions, you may email the International Admissions team at intladmit@oregonstate.edu
Step 3: Upload or send transcripts from ALL accredited colleges and universities attended.
Either upload transcripts to your application or send them to the or prior to the deadline (see below) for each term.
They can be delivered via emailed PDF or hardcopy mail. Once admitted, you must send official transcripts in order to begin classes. All materials must be submitted prior to the deadlines below.
Be sure you have your and transcripts from ALL accredited colleges and universities attended submitted to the prior to the deadline for the term you wish to apply:

Step 4: Check the status of your application by logging into your .
You will receive an admission decision based on the timeline above.

- International applicants can check the status of their application by sending an email to their Application Advisor at intladmit@oregonstate and including their application number (for example, IN:A1234567Q)
You will receive your admission decision on a rolling basis no later than one month prior to the start of the term. For example, if you apply for fall term you will hear of your admission decision no later than one month prior to the first day of fall term classes. You must attend the EECS Registration Day to register for courses and confirm your admission.
Step 5: If admitted, confirm your intent to enroll.
Domestic students: You will need to complete the 鈥渋ntent to enroll鈥 survey in Beaver Basecamp. Once this is completed, you will receive the automatic waiver for the $200 Advanced Tuition Deposit and be given access to the Ecampus online orientation. As part of your online orientation, you will sign up for an EECS group registration session where an EECS advisor will help you register for courses.
International Students: Note that international students must confirm their admission with the Office of International Admissions no later than one month after the deadline to apply.

Deferring admission?
Domestic students: To defer admission, you will log back into your application and change your term of application. You must do this prior to the deadline for the term you wish to begin. For example, if you want to defer to fall term, log in and change your term of application prior to the application deadline for fall term, which is August 1.
International students: To defer admission, you must reach out to International Admissions before the deadline for the term you wish to begin. For example, if you want to defer to fall term, you must reach out to International Admissions and change your term of application prior to the application deadline for fall term, which is August 1.
